CFO Advisory Services

For Enterprises in the UAE & GCC

Fractional CFO support, FP&A architecture, and finance transformation — delivered with institutional discipline.

Who It's For

Built for Leaders Navigating Complexity

CFO Advisory engagements are designed for organisations where senior finance leadership is the missing layer between operational execution and board-level decision-making.

Mid-Market Founders & CEOs

You have outgrown a controller but cannot yet justify a full-time CFO. You need executive-grade finance leadership without the salary and equity commitment of a permanent hire.

Family Offices & Holding Companies

Multi-entity structures need integrated planning, governance, and reporting that bridges operating businesses with investment portfolios.

Banks & Financial Institutions

FP&A redesign, balance sheet management, governance and transformation — drawing on direct experience inside institutions exactly like yours.

What CFO Advisory Includes

Four Pillars of Senior Finance Leadership

Each engagement is scoped to the depth your organisation requires — from board-level oversight to hands-on transformation delivery.

01

Fractional CFO

Senior finance leadership on a part-time retainer. Board reporting, investor relations, treasury oversight, audit liaison — embedded in your leadership team.

02

FP&A Framework Design

Budgeting cycles compressed from weeks to days. KPI architecture that drives decisions. Scenario planning, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis built on enterprise-grade foundations.

03

Finance Transformation

ERP scoping and implementation oversight. Process redesign that eliminates manual reconciliation. AI-enabled analytics deployed where they deliver measurable ROI.

04

Governance & Controls

Internal control frameworks, audit committee reporting, and risk register design, also integrated with Sharia governance and AAOIFI compliance requirements specific to Islamic banking.

Engagement Models

How CFO Advisory Engagements Are Structured

CFO Advisory engagements use Pollen Hub's standard four-model framework: Consulting Retainers, Project-Based Engagements, Structured Programmes, and Coaching & Capability Building. The right model depends on the depth and duration of the support required.

Most CFO Advisory engagements begin as a defined Discovery (2–4 weeks) under the Project-Based model, transitioning to a Retainer once scope and fit are established.

Founder

Institutional Experience. Boutique Delivery.

Pollen Hub is led by Asim Junaidi — 22+ years of finance leadership across 25 markets, including senior roles at Standard Chartered Bank (Regional Head of Financial Performance & Analytics for Middle East & Africa; CFO, Islamic Banking; Financial Controller, UAE) and Head of Strategic Cost Management & Finance Transformation at RAKBANK.

CFO Advisory engagements draw directly on this institutional foundation — the FP&A frameworks, governance structures, and cost programmes we build for clients are the same disciplines Asim has operated inside multi-billion-dollar institutions.

Pollen Hub does not conduct regulated financial services, investment management, or lending, and does not hold client funds.

Why Pollen Hub

Why Pollen Hub for CFO Advisory in Dubai

Dubai's mid-market is underserved by traditional CFO advisory. The Big Four operate at enterprise scale and pricing — beyond what most growing businesses can absorb. Local accounting practices manage compliance, not strategy. The gap is a senior finance leader who can sit at your board table, design your FP&A architecture, and translate financial data into decisive action — without the cost of a full-time hire.

Pollen Hub is built specifically for that gap. We deliver fractional and outsourced CFO services with institutional-grade discipline — drawing on 22+ years inside Standard Chartered Bank, RAKBANK, and global financial institutions across 25 markets. The frameworks we build for your finance function are the same disciplines operated inside multi-billion-dollar institutions, adapted for your scale, governance structure, and growth stage.

Every engagement is led personally by Asim Junaidi. There are no junior consultants delivering work under a senior banner. For Dubai-based founders, family offices, and financial institutions seeking senior CFO advisory without the compromises of either Big Four pricing or accounting-firm depth, Pollen Hub is the boutique alternative.

“Senior finance leadership, on the cadence your business actually needs — delivered from Dubai, across the GCC.”

Frequently Asked

Questions, Answered

How is fractional CFO different from a part-time accountant?

A fractional CFO — also referred to as an outsourced CFO or interim CFO — operates at the strategic level: board reporting, investor relations, capital allocation, treasury, M&A support. An accountant or controller manages bookkeeping, payroll, and statutory compliance. Most growing companies need both — but the CFO role is the one usually missing.

Do you work with companies outside Dubai?

Yes. While we are licensed in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, our engagements span the GCC, the wider Middle East, and Africa — reflecting the 25-market footprint of our founder's career.

How do you price engagements?

Discovery engagements are fixed-fee. Project engagements are scoped on defined deliverables with fixed or milestone-linked pricing. Retainers are priced on monthly day commitments. We do not charge by the hour. Indicative pricing is shared after an initial consultation.

What sectors do you specialise in?

Financial services (conventional and Islamic banking), real estate and family offices, mid-market services businesses, and sustainability-linked enterprises. We decline engagements where our experience does not match the client's need.

How do we get started?

Schedule a 30-minute consultation. If the fit is right, we propose a Discovery engagement. If not, we will say so directly and recommend alternatives where we can.
